In cases where current laws inhibit the ability of sustainable communities to function to any degree, we look into either amending the current law in question or having new legislation introduced and passed. This legislative process may be done on either on a county or state level.

Currently we are looking at building codes and the issues of using recycled materials, bamboo, other native sustainable building material, as well as things like compost toilets, et. al.
